Michele Franciotta

I was born on 18/03/1995 in Voghera and I lived in Pavia until my university graduation.

Being more and more attracted to outdoor activities and landscape photography, in 2017 I moved in the north-west of lake Como, where I worked as a rehabilitation therapist at Hospital Moriggia Pelascini in Gravedona (CO). Meanwhile, I carried out both personal and on commission photographic projects mainly related to sports.

In march 2020 the Hospital of Gravedona was reconverted into a specialized center to face the effects of COVID-19. This period represented for me an opportunity of human, professional and photographic growth, from which the photographic projects Inside and Personae were born.

I’ve been working with Compex Italy since 2019, creating contents aimed to be shared through social media (product and athlete shooting). Meanwhile I also worked with private partners and event managements.

By developing landscape photography I was able to mature a solid way of composing and the practical basis behind digital editing which have been key components in my early days as a professional photographer.

At this moment in time I am doing my best to enrich my portfolio and to grow as much as possible in every photographic area. Landscape and wildlife photography are, still today, compelling passions to me, such as climbing and outdoor activities in general.

Since July 2020 I’ve been living in South Tyrol,  a stone’s throw from the most wonderful landscapes of the Dolomites.
